EAST CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - 19 Action News has learned that the new "person of interest" in the ATM murder of Terry Fitten has turned himself in.

Damien C. Gantz turned himself into police Saturday evening.

Donnell King, the original suspect, was released from police custody Friday night. King voluntarily went to police to clear his name after many believed he was responsible for the murder of Terry Fitten.

Terry Fitten was at the US Bank ATM on Euclid and Forest Hill when he was fatally shot in the chest Wednesday around 7PM.

King's family always maintained his innocence and said King has a large, identifying tattoo on his arm that would have shown up on the video.

They also claim King was at the Lonnie Burton Rec Center playing basketball Wednesday night at the time of the murder - and that there is video from the rec center to prove it.

Police reviewed the surveillance from the rec center and also checked his cell phone records which place him at a different location at the time of the deadly shooting.

US Bank has offered at $10,000 reward in this case.
