Gospel Goon: Evangelist sent to the slammer for online sex chat, dirty picture

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A local evangelist found guilty of talking dirty to a teenage girl was sentenced to prison on Friday.

44-year-old Rodney Stewart also sent a picture exposing his genitalia using a webcam to what he thought was a teenage girl. The 15-year-old girl was actually an undercover Franklin County Sheriff's Deputy.

The perverse acts happened from June through August of this year.

In October, Stewart pleaded guilty to three counts of importuning, one count of possession of criminal tools and one count of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.

He was sentenced to one year in prison.
