EXCLUSIVE: Local mayor under fire after he was caught using racial slurs

CUYAHOGA HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - A powerful political name is tied to a disturbing recording.

A local mayor is under fire for using racial slurs.

The Italian-born owner of Hillside Party Center says his African-American cliental doesn't sit too well with the mayor of this mostly white community.

"He told me over and over again, I don't like your business, I don't like the people you bring to my town," Emanuel Diligente said.

Diligente says his troubles started when he began renting the upstairs of his party center to a black congregation for weekly church services.

So 19 Action News went straight to Mayor Jack Bacci to find out if these allegations are true.
