CLEVELAND, OH (10/25/09) - Host, Harry Boomer talks with members from The American Diabetes Association.
The group says there are 330-thousand people in Northeast Ohio known to have diabetes and another 56-thousand who have it and don't know it."
Symptoms of diabetes include frequent urination, excessive thirst, extreme hunger, unusual weight loss, increased fatigue, irritability, blurry vision.
African-Americans and other minorities are more prone to this disease.
Life-style changing including exercise and proper diet can stave off some of the on-set of diabetes or make the disease more manageable.
