CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - An update to a story about a Cleveland city worker busted breaking a big time rule.

19 Action News Investigator Carl Monday has learned Omayra Feliciano - Director of Cleveland's Office of Consumer Affairs - has resigned.

This, after an investigation revealed that Feliciano lied when it came to her qualifications for the $70,000 a year position. She claimed she earned a Bachelor's degree from Cleveland State but only attended CSU for six months back in 1989.

Mayor Jackson stood behind Feliciano despite her educational background lies and suspended her for just five days, citing an 'error' on her application with the city.
