CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Gamble House in Westwood has been awarded historical designation from Cincinnati City Council.

The home will now be turned into a historic landmark instead of being torn down.

The home's owner, the Green Acres Foundation, applied for a demolition permit, saying they want to use the property for greenspace for education programs for children.

Now, the Cincinnati Preservation Association is trying to buy the home so it can be restored.
