CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - New details in plans to construct a Medical Mart and Convention Center in the city of Cleveland.

Today, Cuyahoga County officials made it official.  They announced a deal to buy the The Sportsman deli and restaurant building.

After months of tough negotiations, The Sportsman, known for it's corned beef sandwiches, was purchased for a cool $3.1 million dollars. The tiny building has been a part of the community for more than 50 years.
