Dangerous Dozen: Help Catch Ohio's Most Wanted

Cleveland, Ohio - U.S. Marshal Peter J. Elliott announces the creation of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force's Most Wanted list, nicknamed the "Dangerous Dozen". 

This new list contains the 12 Most Wanted fugitives sought by the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force at any given time.  A flyer is attached with the photo, name, Date of Birth, charge and area of interest for the first "Dangerous Dozen". 

With Internet access, anyone can click on each photo on the flyer and view full wanted posters for each fugitive, which contain larger pictures and more information on the fugitive.  Viewers can also go to CLICK HERE to view the fugitives and wanted posters. 

These fugitives are wanted for crimes of homicide, robbery, felonious assault, sex offenses, firearms violations and drug trafficking.  All are wanted for crimes of violence and/or have committed crimes of violence in the past. 

These are truly dangerous individuals and should not be approached by the general public.  If anyone has information concerning the whereabouts of these fugitives, they are encouraged to contact the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force toll free at (866) 4WANTED. Callers may remain anonymous and reward money is available for information leading to the arrest of any of these fugitives. 

The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force was started in June 2003 and has apprehended over 20,000 fugitives since inception. 

The Task Force has six full time divisions operating in Cleveland, Akron, Youngstown, Toledo, Lorain County and Richland County.  The Task Force covers the entire federal Northern District of Ohio which encompasses 40 counties.  Over 250 federal, state and local law enforcement officers from over 80 law enforcement agencies participate on the Task Force and work together to locate and apprehend Northern Ohio's wanted violent fugitives. 

Acting Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Andrew Deserto stated, "Our Task Force has always targeted the most dangerous fugitives wanted in Northern Ohio and with the release of this new list we are hopeful to engage citizens to assist us and all law enforcement with locating and apprehending these fugitives and help make our communities a safer place for everyone."
