EUCLID, OH (WOIO) - The Cuyahoga County Coroner positively identified the body washed ashore as that of Emma Nahas and drowning has been ruled as the preliminary cause of death.

Family members say the official I. D. just confirms what they already knew.

The body washed up at East 250th and Lakeshore Monday.

The 20-year-old went missing nearly two weeks ago when she and a group of friends jumped off a recreation boat into Lake Erie near Burke Lakefront Airport. Everyone returned to the boat except Nahas.

Police have re-interviewed all eight people who were on the boat with Emma when she disappeared.

No one on the boat has been charged with any wrongdoing.
