CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A county judge's home was part of a crime spree in a neighborhood of mansions.

Cops say someone broke into Judge Richard McMonagle's Edgewater Dr. home.

Cops and neighbors tell 19 Action News that thieves have been targeting the area lately hitting it again and again.

"The big white house on the corner, the big mansion on the corner, there was an attempted break-in on Friday in the middle of the night. The economy's bad, you gotta be very careful," said neighbor Tom Eunik.

If you have any information call Crime Stoppers at 216-252-7463.
