MEDINA, OH (WOIO) - More than a dozen people have been charged with underage consumption of alcohol and police have Facebook to thank.

This all went down at a home in Medina when somebody's parents were away. The kids came over, the alcohol started flowing and somebody at the party posted the party on Facebook.

Cops say the teens were cavalier about what they were posting and that led Montville Township police right to their Highland Green Drive party after some one not at the party saw the posts and called them.

Police said when they dropped by no one answered the door but some kids started running out the back.

After cops cleared the house they found beer cans, bottles and party-goers hiding in different places in the house.

The police arrested nine teens who were under age for drinking plus four adults. The oldest one was only 20 years old.
