CLEVELAND, OH (6/6/10) - The education of Cleveland's 50-thousand students is at stake when it comes to the on-going negotiations between the district and the Cleveland Teacher's Union/CTU.
Guests, David Quolke, President of the CTU and Maryann Fredrick, First Vice President addressed the status of talks and generally talked about the education process from the union's point of view.
Quolke said the union gave it's position to the Sanders administration and has been met with a take it or leave it option. He would not address whether his membership is willing to take pay cuts to help the district close a 53-million budget deficit.
