CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Two of the candidates running for the new Cuyahoga County executive position sit with Host, Harry Boomer.

Democrat Ed Fitzgerald and Republican Matt Dolan are the two partisan candidates. 

Ken Lanci, Tim McCormack and Don Scipione are the independents.  David Ellison is the Green Party candidate.

The executive will manage the county's day-to-day operations, including human services and economic development.
