AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

An admission of guilt in the Cuyahoga County corruption scandal.

Executive Caterers boss Harlan Diamond pleaded guilty to helping former County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora steal from his campaign fund.

The information says Dimora never paid for a 50th birthday party for his wife. Then, he had Diamond pad the bill of a political fundraiser to pay for a large portion of that birthday bash.

Diamond pleaded to aiding and abetting mail fraud.

He faces up to six months in prison behind bars. No word on a sentencing date at this time.
