More Time: Sentencing for former Judge Bridget McCafferty postponed

Posted: Updated:

Former Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Bridget McCafferty will get more time to appeal her conviction.

Thursday, McCafferty's sentencing was moved to July 8th.

The former judge was found guilty in March on all 10 counts of making false statements. She  lied to the FBI about several things including ever talking to former County Auditor Frank Russo about cases on her desk.

Russo has already pled guilty to corruption charges.

McCafferty was supposed to be sentenced in early June.
