More delay requests and new names on the Cleveland Strangler's witness list

Posted: Updated:
CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Lawyers for accused serial killer Anthony Sowell are asking for another delay in the case, and 19 Action News has also learned they've also added Cleveland's mayor and his wife to their witness list. Why?

Maybe because Sowell dated the mayor's niece for a time.

Crime scene photos obtained exclusively by 19 Action News explain why the mayor might have to testify: the photos show the name of the mayor's niece Lori Frazier.

Frazier, an admitted drug addict, lived with Sowell for about two years.

Defense attorneys might also call an assistant city prosecutor to answer questions about Sowell.
