43 Forum: Cleveland Councilman going to the next level
CLEVELAND (6/26/11) - Councilman TJ Dow serves Ward 7 in Cleveland. He is an author, a former assistant county prosecutor, a radio talk show host and now he'S about to open The Dow Leadership Institute in August.
His two books are about education and leadership and he says having had a longtime interest in those areas lead him to want to combine them at the Dow Leadership Institute.
We talk about the revitalization of the Historic Hough neighborhood and the growing Upper Chester community.
We talked about the continued progress in restoring League Park at East 66th and Lexington.
We discussed other progress in Cleveland which includes, but not limited to, the Casino coming to town, the east bank of the Flats project.
We also talked about ways to keep the lid on what will be a hot summer in the city in so far as crime goes.
We talked about youth employment as a way to keep trouble at bay.
