CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

A Cleveland teen is sitting in jail tonight. He was busted for robbing people he met on the popular web site Craigslist.

According to police, a black teen posed as an older white guy selling a motorcycle.

The victim went to meet the seller on Cleveland's near west side but was robbed of $1500 when he got there.

Cleveland Second District Vice Detectives cracked the case and arrested Marlon Dixon.

Apparently a friend of the guy who was robbed noticed the Craigslist ad was still up. So he posed as a buyer and set up a meeting here West 29th and Clinton.

The vice cops went there undercover and busted Dixon with a gun.

Sources close to the case tell 19 Action News that Dixon was looking for money he needed to fight an unrelated theft charge he's facing.
