1 dead, 1 arrested, and 1 more murder suspect sought

AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

An investigation is underway after an early morning fatal shooting in the city of Akron.

19-year-old Yusef Daniels was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound in the street by neighbors. EMS rushed Daniels to Akron General, where he later died.

Cops say he was shot outside a home on Beechwood Drive around 1:30AM.

One suspect has been identified as Chevron J. Mapp, 18, of Akron. He was hit in the arm during the altercation. He was treated and released from Akron General Medical Center and booked into the Summit County Jail. Mapp was charged with Murder and Aggravated Robbery.

A second suspect has been identified as Charles L. Williams, 18. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Charles Williams is a black male, 5'10", 238 lbs., and should be considered armed and dangerous.
