The Cavaliers will reportedly retire former center Zydrunas Ilgauskas' number 11. The report, which surfaced on LithuaniaBasketball.com, doesn't mention when the team will retire the Cavaliers fan favorite's number.
The report says the Cavaliers number one pick Kyrie Irving wanted to wear the number but was told it wasn't available because it was going to be retired.
Ilgauskas is the Cavaliers all-time leader in games played (771), rebounds (5904) and blocked shots (1269).
He will become the seventh Cavalier to have his jersey hung in the rafters of the Q. He will join Bingo Smith, Larry Nance, Mark Price, Austin Carr, Nate Thurmond and Brad Daugherty.
