CLEVELAND - (10/23/11) - County Executive Ed Fitzgerald stopped by 43 Forum to talk about what he's doing and keep our viewers up-to-date.

He and the 11-member county council are working to overhaul the culture and the way Cuyahoga County does business.

Also joining FitzGerald was Norberto Colon/ Deputy Chief of staff; Public Safety and Justice for Cuyahoga County.

Fitzgerald talked about his 100-million economic development plan, part of which will have funding for scholarships.

We talked about his on-going efforts to reform county governance.

He informed our viewers that more layoffs are coming and that he understands that there is a certain level of anxiety, but that's just part of the process.

Colon talks about his work with the county sheriff's department and other law enforcement to help ensure that all rules are followed to the letter and spirit of the law.

FitzGerald also talked about his plans to further the concept of regionalism.
