My name is Alyce Turner and I am responding to Bill Applegate's Occupy Wall Street Editorial.
I am appalled at the Occupy Wall Street "gang" and cannot believe that the majority of people agree with this. they appear as rag-tag radicals with no purpose other than disruption.
The organized unions have now joined the movement and now it appears they are manipulating the occupiers to do their bidding. The president's jobs bill is all about union jobs. What about non-union jobs?
The Wall Street stock market has always been a stabilizer for our country. When it goes up, we live great and when it goes down, we suffer. Are they trying to kill our dollar?
The protesters want healthcare, college, and security. Maybe we all should re-examine the 10th Amendment. We may discover that these powers were given to the states and not to the federal government.
Remember, a government big enough to give you everything, is also big enough to take it away.
