Now another battle brewing who has the best wings in northeast Ohio?
We start at Panini's..."They're phenomenal," said one customer. "I think these wings are probably the best I've ever had!"
Fresh is what they're most proud of as cook Chelsea puts another batch in.
There's about to be 13 flavors to choose from with the newest and favorite right now...
"That's a mix of fresh parm and our kicking sauce"
Their buffalo parmesan wings!
From there we head to the Winking Lizard.
It's one of the best known places for wing'n it in northeast Ohio, serving 'em up since 1983!
"Always crispy, always juicy, ...a lot of meat on the bone."
But it all begins a little differently here. These bad boys baked first to about 90% done.
"They create a layer on the outside so it won't soak up as much of the grease once they're fried.." "And hold the chicken's juices inside."
So, who's wings are finger licking' good?
Panini's or Winking Lizard?
Well, it was a close one but it looks like Panini's came out on top with 53% of the vote. The Winking Lizard had 47%.
