Local heroes honored by the American Red Cross

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Heroes were honored by the American Red Cross in Cleveland Monday.

19 Action News anchor Denise Dufala had the honor of being the emcee at today's hero awards at the Intercontinental Hotel.

15 people in our area received the recognition they deserve for saving and changing lives.

One of them, Cathy the sister of Denise Dufala, who saved her husband's life using CPR.
