AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the human remains found behind Rolling Acres in Akron Friday afternoon as 47-year-old Timothy Kern.

Kern was last seen November 13th.  His family told authorities he was going to meet a prospective employer, and wasn't heard from afterwards.

According to the Medical Examiner, the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head.

Two bodies were found in Ohio Friday afternoon.

Just before noon, the Noble County Sheriff discovered a body in a shallow grave in Stock Township in Noble County.

That body was transported to the Licking County Coroner's Office where an autopsy will be performed and positive identification will be made.

The FBI is looking into if these are connected to the Craigslist killings at this time.

Earlier this month, two men were shot, one fatally, in Marietta after responding to a job listing on Craigslist. A third man remains missing after responding to the same Craigslist posting.

Suspect 16-year-old Brogan Rafferty has been charged with one count of attempted murder and one count of complicity to attempted murder. 52-year-old Richard J. Beasley is behind bars, but has yet to be charged.
