CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
Due to an overwhelming applicant response, about half of the 40 job openings posted earlier this week by Horseshoe Cleveland have been taken down.
As of Friday morning, Horseshoe Cleveland has received 16,000 applications for the additional 750 job openings that were posted on Monday. Positions in cashiering, slot supervision, administrative assistance, food and beverage and security are some of the positions that have seen the most applicants.
Several job openings in a variety of departments remain posted on the HorseshoeCleveland.com website. However candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible, as postings will be removed once the requisite number of applicants has been identified to move forward. All posted job descriptions include a starting wage.
Applicants must apply online at www.HorseshoeCleveland.com and should be:
· At least 21 years old at the time of application;
· A high school graduate, or possess a GED equivalent;
· Able to provide prior work history; resumes are not required but may be helpful in the screening process;
· Flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays;
· Willing to submit to and successfully complete all pre-employment requirements including a criminal background check, drug test and other regulatory requirements.
Horseshoe Cleveland's recruiting team will screen applications and contact individuals who are found best suited for the openings.
The 16,000 applications received this week is in addition to the nearly 12,000 applications the casino received in September for 600 table games positions.
