AKRON, OH (WOIO) -
A jury has been seated in the Jimmy Dimora corruption trial.
Jimmy Dimora entered the Akron Federal Courthouse stone-faced Friday for a second phase of jury selection.
His corruption trial is set to begin on Wednesday, after the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals gives its decision on a motion to halt the trial. That was filed by Dimora's lawyers earlier this week.
The original pool of more than 100 potential jurors was whittled down to 67 by the end of the day on Thursday.
Judge Sarah Lioi asked potential jurors about any history with the court system, such as being a victim of crime or of being charged with a crime. She also asked if any have connections to law enforcement.
The ultimate question is given any of this kind of background can you be a fair and impartial judge of the facts presented in this case.

19 Action News is investigating the whereabouts of convicted former Cuyahoga County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora.
Dimora is supposed to serve his sentence on federal bribery charges at a federal prison in North Carolina, but more than four months after his sentencing, he's still not there.
