Services held Saturday for amber alert murder victims

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Services were held Saturday for a teen mom and her 1-year-old daughter who were gunned down a week ago by the mom's estranged boyfriend.

Wake and funeral services for Latasha Jackson, 19, Chaniya Wynn, 1, were held at 9:30 a.m. at New Bethlehem Baptist Church located on Woodland Avenue.

The victim's bodies along with suspect Thomas Lorde, 35, were found inside a closed, vacant garage on the city's east side last Sunday morning. All three had been fatally shot.

Late last Saturday morning, Jackson and her daughter were abducted near E.72nd Street and Union Avenue by Lorde. Lorde was a violent sexual predator with felony warrants out of New York. The abduction prompted an amber alert.

19 Action News obtained the 911 calls made after Jackson and Wynn were kidnapped.  The recordings revealed that Lorde called the child's father, notifying him of his intent to kill.
