Woman wanted to hire hitman to kill people wearing fur

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The FBI announced the arrest of Meredith Lowell, 27 of Cleveland Heights.  She's charged with one count of solicitation to commit murder.

Agents say Lowell communicated through the Internet on multiple occasions with undercover agents assigned to the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force in an effort to solicit an undercover agent to carry out a murder of any individual that was wearing a product with fur on it.

This case was investigated by the Cleveland Heights Police Department and the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force.

    Sentencing is set for this afternoon for Zachary Brody. The 27-year-old Bowling Green man has already pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence in the death of Phil Masterson.
