The lone student gunman has been identified as TJ Lane, 17.

Classmates described him as "very quiet."

Geauga County court records: Lane's parents filed domestic violence charges against each other. His father later spend time in prison for trying to suffocate another woman. He held the victim's head underwater and hit it against a wall. His father was also charged with assaulting a police officer.
