CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Cleveland Police have made a fourth arrest in the homicide investigation of Elissa Hereford.

Jimeel Germany surrendered to Homicide Detectives at the Justice Center Wednesday around 1 PM. He is currently locked up awaiting charges.

Meantime, two of the three suspects involved in the deadly gun battle on the city's east side went before a judge earlier in the day.

19-year-old Devon Mittman and 18-year-old Brennon Isom pleaded not guilty and are being held on a $1M bond.

Cleveland Police say Hereford was caught in the crossfire of the shooting on E. 95th Street last week while looking out her window.

The preliminary investigation reveals that the suspects were exchanging gunfire in the 2200 block of East 95th when Hereford looked out her second floor window and was shot during the exchange of gunfire. Hereford was taken by ambulance to MetroHealth Medical Center, where she died from injuries.

18-year-old Daymond Haywood has also been arrested.

Sources close to the investigation say the reason for the shooting - some kind of turf battle in the streets.
