UPDATE: DPS Officials tell KLTV that all lanes of 155 have been re-opened.
Officials tell KLTV that an 18 wheeler and another vehicle are involved in an accident on Highway 155.
The accident happened on Highway 155 just south of Loop 49 near Noonday.
DPS officials tell us a vehicle collided with the 18 wheeler, which ruptured the tank on the 18 wheeler. This spilled close to 325 gallons of diesel fuel onto the highway.
One woman who was driving the vehicle was taken by ETMC to the hospital. Her injuries are unknown at this time. The driver of the 18 wheeler did not receive any injuries.
TXDOT, Noonday fire, Tyler fire, DPS and Tyler Hazmat crews are all on the scene.
Officials say Highway 155 will be closed in both directions for a few hours while crews work to clean up the leak. Travelers are advised to use other routes for travel.
