Former Fairfield Township Fire Chief files for appeal

Former Fairfield Township Fire Chief David Downie is fighting to get his job back.

Downie is filing for an appeal after being let go as Fairfield Township Fire Chief. Downie was fired after Fairfield Township Trustees decided that he had what was called "inappropriate communications" with co-workers.

He was let go after 25 years on the job.
