"The 19 Action News W82TXT Campaign Invades North Royalton"
Fifty orange cones, Seven cameras and one Pat O'Brien Chevy. That's what it took to change the minds, and driving habits, of a group of North Royalton high school students.
19 Action News teamed up with the North Royalton Police Department, the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office and North Royalton High School to demonstrate just how dangerous texting and driving really is. The students were put to the texting test; trying to text on their phone while navigating stop signs, children's toys, police cars and tons and tons of orange cones. So, how'd they do? Check out the videos and see for yourself.
