4th Brunswick teen laid to rest

BRUNSWICK, OH (WOIO) -

The fourth and final Brunswick High School student killed in a horrific car crash last weekend was laid to rest Saturday.

Funeral services for Kevin Fox, 18, were held at 1 p.m. at the Cornerstone Chapel in Medina followed by burial services at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens located at 2093 Grafton Road, Brunswick.

Fox was a senior at Brunswick High School when he was killed in the crash early Sunday morning, June 3.  Five students were inside the Chevrolet Cavalier when the car went airborne at a railroad crossing on Boston Road in Columbia Township. The driver of the vehicle, Jeffrey Chaya, couldn't gain control upon landing and crashed. 

Jeffrey Chaya, 18, Blake Bartchak, 17, Kevin Fox, 18 and Lexi Poerner, 17 were all killed in the horrific crash. The sole survivor, Julia Romito, 17, was treated and released from Southwest General Hospital in Middleburg Heights, Ohio several days later.

Fox and Chaya would have graduated the day of the crash.
