CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
A woman was in court Tuesday morning after police say she hit and killed a motorcyclist on northbound I-75 and then fled the scene.
Brittany Ison, 20, is charged with leaving the scene of an accident, vehicular homicide and vehicular manslaughter. Her bond was set at $55,000.
Police say Ison rear-ended a Suzuki 1500 motorcycle driven by Jason Claypool, 39, of Burlington Monday morning while traveling northbound on I-75 near the exit to I-74.
Claypool struck the guardrail. He was taken to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police say he was not wearing a helmet.
Ison was arrested later on Monday and taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center.
