(WOIO) -

President Obama needs to answer a lot of questions about his newly announced immigration policy but there is a right way and a wrong way for reporters to ask those questions.

Neil Munro, a reporter for the right wing blog "The Daily Caller", did it the wrong way in the rose garden earlier this week. Munro interrupted the president's immigration announcement to shout a question asking if Obama favored foreigners over Americans.  The president, clearly rattled, scolded the reporter for interrupting him.

Some heckler yelling at the president on the campaign trail is one thing but a reporter doing it is something else again. And while the question maybe valid, the occasion was inappropriate and it was disrespectful of the presidency.

Write and let me know what you think. I'm Bill Applegate.
