CHARDON, OH (WOIO) -

It's been four months since the Chardon High School shooting and Thursday was another example of a community, pulling together, in the aftermath.

Community members are rolling up their sleeves in an effort to spruce up community baseball fields.

It is a one day make over -- from top to bottom. There are now new wooden bleachers to replace old rotting ones, along with new paint jobs and flowers.

The clean up effort is really more than just a few volunteers and Home Depot. In fact, nearly every business in town in the area, is behind the clean up.

Volunteers say without the group effort they'd probably be there for about a year doing it.
