CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A former foster parent and babysitter has been found competent to stand trial.

Barbara Brooks, 62, has been indicted on 15 counts of rape and three counts of gross sexual imposition.  The charges stem from Brooks sexually assaulting four different children she babysat between Jan. 1, 2000 and Feb. 27, 2007.

She pled not guilty by reason of insanity.

On Wednesday, Judge Steve Martin ruled that she is competent to stand trial. A trial date is unknown.

She faces the possibility of life in prison if convicted of all charges.
