CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

A former judge convicted in the Cuyahoga County corruption probe was in court Thursday to answer to traffic violations.

Bridget McCafferty struck a plea deal. She pleaded to slow speed, and the reckless operation charge was dropped.

She was fined $100, and $150 in court costs. Two points will be added on her license.

Just after midnight on July 18, McCafferty was charged with reckless operation and slow speed (going below speed limit) at I-90 and East 152nd.

McCafferty was sentenced last August to 14 months in federal prison for lying to the FBI in the corruption investigation.

McCafferty is still in federal custody, but is in the final stages of her 14 month sentence at the Oriana House on East 55th Street.

McCafferty becomes a free woman on September 17.
