
Ubaldo Jimenez gave up three runs in the second inning and the Indians could never recover, they lost to New York 4-2 on Sunday. Jimenez settled down and pitched five innings, but still took the loss.
Nick Swisher had three hits and drove in a run, Curtis Granderson slugged his 33rd homer of the season. Carlos Santana drove in both Cleveland runs.
Freddy Garcia started for the Yankees, allowing two runs in four and two-thirds innings.
