Cleveland men arrested in Medina for heroin trafficking
MEDINA, OH (WOIO) -
Two Cleveland men were arrested this afternoon after allegedly delivering suspected heroin to undercover agents of the Medina County Drug Task Force.
"We received complaints and information from concerned citizens which started this investigation. Fast action from our partners at the Medina County Drug Task Force made this all possible," said Medina Chief Patrick Berarducci. "It's all about teamwork."
Arrested at 456 Bronson St., Medina, was Tommy Devon Dorsey, 23 of Cleveland. He was charged with one count of trafficking in heroin, a fourth-degree felony. Dorsey was a fugitive and has also been charged with dangerous drugs, a felony and contempt of court, a misdemeanor. Both warrants originated with Cleveland Police.
Also arrested was Curtis D. Debose, 32 of Cleveland. He was also charged with one count of trafficking in heroin, a fourth-degree felony.
Police believe both men have been staying on Bronson Street and in apartments at Union Square.
Dubose and Dorsey are in Medina County Jail and will appear on Monday before Judge Dale Chase in Medina Municipal Court for their initial appearance. Investigators anticipate additional charges will be filed when the case is presented to the Medina County Grand Jury.
