CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

First Lady Michelle Obama was in Cincinnati on Tuesday to speak to grassroots supporters.

Mrs. Obama's speech at the Duke Energy Center began at 2:15 p.m. and focused on what is at stake in this election for Ohioans.

"I've got news for you. In Ohio it is already Election Day," says Mrs. Obama, urging people to caravan to vote right after this rally.

The Cincinnati Fire Department estimated that about 6,800 supporters came out to hear the First Lady speak.

"We're energized. We're ready. We are ready to vote. We are ready to fight," said Mariah Bates, an Obama supporter.

With the First Lady in town, Ann Romney is offering her opinion on why she believes her husband is the better choice for President.

"Ohio is important. Cincinnati is a great town and we are hoping that they'll tune into the debate and they'll really be able to decide for themselves because it's a very clear election. My husband is running and has gotten into this race because he knows that the economy has not had a recover like it should have," said Ann Romney.
