Citizens protest Elmwood speed cameras Saturday

ELMWOOD PLACE, OH (FOX19) -

Some angry citizens protested speed cameras in their community on Saturday. A group of citizens gathered near one of the cameras off of I-75 Saturday afternoon to protest controversial speed cameras in the area.

The Village of Elmwood Police Chief says that the speed traps crack down on hazardous drivers and help to generate money.

Elmwood place gets about $63 for each ticket written.
