Scientific testimony in Craigslist murder trial

Posted: Updated:
AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

More testimony on Wednesday for the prosecution in the trial of Craigslist murder suspect Brogan Rafferty.

16-year-old Rafferty faces multiple charges, including four counts of murder.

Rafferty and 52-year-old Richard Beasley are accused of luring men to a farm in Noble County through a Craigslist ad that promised work.

Three men were killed, a fourth man was shot, but survived.

Jonathan Gardner, a BCI investigator, testified about bullets recovered from the bodies of the Craigslist victims, and the guns that fired them.

Prosecutors are trying to tie the weapons to Rafferty. Alleged plot mastermind Beasley will be tried separately.
