CAMPBELL COUNTY, KY (FOX19) -

A judge has refused a lower bond for a Lexington woman accused of killing her boyfriend.

Shayna Hubers, 21, had a bond hearing in Campbell County Court Friday morning. A full bond hearing is set for Friday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.

Police say Hubers shot and killed Ryan Poston, 29, inside his Highland Heights home last Friday.

She's being held on a $5 million cash bond. The bond was raised early Wednesday morning for unknown reasons.

Hubers claims self defense, but Poston's family says that claim is absurd.
