Milford officials say they've found a missing 16-year-old girl in Illinois.
Alexis Cox left her home the morning of Oct. 22 and wasn't heard from after that.
Officials began looking for her Tuesday, expanding their search to state police around the area.
Tuesday afternoon, Illinois State Police found Alexis safe and sound in the St. Louis area.
According to a press release, Cox was in the company of an adult male.
They immediately contacted Milford Police and now they are working on getting her back to Ohio.
Investigators are looking into the circumstances surrounding the case to determine if charges are appropriate.
