HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, KY (FOX19) -
A preliminary hearing was held on Thursday for a Lexington woman accused of killing her boyfriend in Highland Heights.
Police say Shayna Hubers shot and killed Ryan Poston inside his home earlier this month. A judge heard testimony on Thursday from a Highland Heights detective and found probably cause to forward the case to a grand jury. The judge also revoked Huber's $5 million bond.
Hubers is charged with capitol murder.
Hubers says she shot Poston twice in the head, but investigators say she also told them she shot him four more times to make sure he was dead.
She claims self defense and Poston's family says those claims are absurd.
