Annual Tent City event to take place in downtown Toledo

TOLEDO, OH (TOLEDO NEWS NOW) - Tents will fill up in downtown Toledo Friday for an annual event aimed at bringing awareness to homelessness.

The annual Tent City is a weekend event in which people camp out downtown with Toledo's homeless residents.

The Tent City project partners up with different shelters and service providers including the Cherry Street Mission and mayor's office. Services provided include basic medical and dental care as well as food and clothing.
