ODOT Update on Construction

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO)-

  • Monday, October 29th I-90 west will be closed overnight from 7:30 p.m. until 6 a.m. Tuesday morning as crews shift traffic in the area.  Use the alternate route of I-77 south to I-490 west to I-90 west.  Motorists traveling to Tremont or Ohio City should use the Lorain-Carnegie or Detroit-Superior bridges.

 

  • Monday, October 29th I-90 west will have a left lane closed from Abbey Avenue and the I-71 split, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

  • Daily Monday- Friday, October 29 through November2, East 9th and East 14th Streets may have lane restrictions each day during off-peak hours.  Ontario will continue to have restricted lanes for approximately the next two weeks.

 

  • Monday through Friday, October 29 through November 2, one of the Tremont I-90 underpasses is likely to be closed each day as work continues.  Abbey Avenue is now open to two-way traffic.  Additional work will continue. 

 

  • Paving on both University Road and Allman Court (off Starkweather) has been delayed.  Additional details will be forthcoming.
